Olsen, Olive (15 NOV 1890 - 24 Feb 1928)

Olive Olsen nee Johnson was born November 15, 1890 in the Town of Beaver, Clark county. She was united in marriage to Ole Olsen on April 18, 1917.

On the 13th of February she was stricken with Pneumonia and although everything was done that willing hands could do, a gradual weakening was noticed until she passed away to the Great Beyond on the 24th of February 1928, at the age of 37 years 3 months and 9 days.

Her mother and two brothers preceded her in death by thirty four years.

She was a true and devoted wife and mother and will be sadly missed by those who knew her best.

She leaves to mourn her early death her husband, two sons, Robert age ten years and Allen age seven years, a father, mother, two sisters, Mrs. J. Luchterhand and Mrs. F. Zuege, a brother John whose whereabouts is unknown and many other relatives and friends.

The funeral services were held on Tuesday afternoon February 28th at the Lutheran Church at Riplinger, Rev. Draeger officiating. The remains were laid to rest in the Beaver cemetery.
