Morse, Gertrude (9 JUN 1928)

A very quiet wedding took place at Neillsville on Saturday, June 9, 1928 when Miss Gertrude Morse became the bride of George Bannach. They were attended by Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Cowles, who acted as witnesses.

A wedding supper was served at the home of the bride’s parents to immediate relatives only. After the supper a wedding dance was given at the Christie Hall, which was attended by a very large crowd.

The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alonzo Morse of Christie at which place she grew to womanhood.

The groom is the youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. John Bannach of the town of Loyal and has a large circle of friends and acquaintances.

The young couple will reside for a time at the home of the groom’s parents.

The Tribune joins with their many friends in extending best wishes for a long and happy wedded life.
