PROCHAZKA-SCHLINSOG…October 24, 1943

Miss Dorothy Jane PROCHAZKA, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George PROCHASZKA, Neillsville, and Arthur William SCHLINSOG, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry SCHINSOG, of Granton, were united in marriage at the parsonage of the Zion Lutheran church, Granton, on Sunday, October 24 at 2 p.m. The Rev. Arthur Laesch, pastor of the church, performed the ceremony. The single ring service was used.

The bride was attired in a white wool serge two-piece street dress, and she wore a yellow rose corsage.

The maid of honor, Miss Dorothy IMIG, friend of the bride, wore a rust street dress and she also wore a corsage of yellow roses.

The groom was attended by Louis SEIF, of Neillsville.

The couple left for a short wedding trip and after November 1, will be at home to their friends on the groom’s father’s farm, two miles north of Granton.

Mrs. Schlinsog graduated from the Neillsville high school with the class of 1943 and since has been employed at the Kearn’s Drug store. Mr. Schlinsog has been farming with his father near Granton since his graduation from the Granton high school in 1938.

A dinner was served at 6:30 o’clock in the evening at the home of the bride’s parents for the bridal party and the immediate relatives.
