Zimmermann, Elsie M. (26 JUN 1912)

A very pleasant home wedding occurred Wednesday afternoon at the farm residence of Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Zimmerman, when their daughter, Miss Elsie M., was given in marriage to Mr. John W. Burnett of Hixton. The bride was attended by Miss Connant of Hixton, and the groom by Mr. Serry, also of Hixton. Only a limited number of nearest relatives were present, those from a distance being Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Zimmermann of Sparta, Mrs. Burnett of Hixton, Mrs. Lydia Pfaff of Sparta.

The ceremony was performed by Rev. G. J. Pfefferkorn of Augusta, pastor of the Evangelical Association Church. After the ceremony a most elaborate dinner was served, after which the young couple drove to Hixton, where the groom has a splendid farm. That success will award his efforts in his chosen occupation has already been demonstrated. The bride has grown to young womanhood in this vicinity and has a large circle of friends both in the village and surrounding country. The newly married couple has the best wishes of all that know them.
