Mrs. Pat Hughes for many years a resident of Weston died Friday at the age of 78 years, nine months and 18 days. She had been in poor health for a long time.

She is survived by her husband, two sons James and William at home and a daughter Mary in Los Angeles.

The daughter came by airplane to Chicago to reach here in time for the funeral Monday, but was delayed by the storm. Funeral services were held Monday morning at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Rev. Weber officiating. Burial was delayed till Tuesday morning awaiting the arrival of the daughter who came Monday night.
