Rossow, Glen L. (26 Feb 1911 - 7 Jul 1991)

Loyal, Clark County, Wis. - Services for Glen L. Rossow, 80, Loyal, who was found dead Sunday at his home, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Rinka Funeral Home, Loyal.

The Rev. Joseph Kraly of Trinity Lutheran Church, Loyal, will officiate. Burial, with full military rites by Loyal American Legion Post 175, will be in Loyal Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Larry and Robert Davel, Randy and Tami Cook, Dennis Rossow and Shirley Goode.

Visitation will be from 4-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

He was born Feb. 26, 1911, in Clark County, Wis., to Charles and Tina Rossow. He attended rural Clark County schools. He married Joyce L. Whittemore in Dec. 1952 in Loyal.

He was a self-employed house mover and late worked for the Clark County Highway Department until retiring in 1973. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of the Loyal American Legion Post.

He is survived by his wife of Owen; two daughters, Mrs. Pauline Morick of Chicago and Mrs. Robert (Nancy) Brown of Abbotsford; three sons, Gilbert of Brainerd, Minn., Robert of Orange, Calif. And Charles of Colton, Calif.; one brother, Gilbert of Pearson; three sisters, Mrs. Beulah Brenner, Mrs. Pal (Dorothy) Schmitt and Mrs. Lila Dankemeyer, all of Pearson; 16 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his parents and three brothers, Roy, Bill and Marvin.
