Schumacher, Robert F. (30 APR 1924 - 7 JAN 2005)

Robert F. Schumacher, 80, Spencer, died at 6:10 p.m., Friday, Jan. 7, 2005, at his home. Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 12, at Rembs/Kundinger Funeral Home, Marshfield. Entombment was in Forest Hill Cemetery Mausoleum, Wisconsin Rapids. Pallbearers were his grandsons, Chad Pichler, Brad Schumacher, Damon Schumacher, and Ryan Schumacher.

Robert F. Schumacher was born on April 30, 1924, in Riodott, Ill., to Edward and Adeline [nee DuPee] Schumacher. He attended Sunshine School, Unity. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He married Ruth M. Morrison on Aug. 12, 1950, in Bakerville. He had been employed as a laborer and certified plumber until retiring in 1986. He enjoyed visiting with family, gardening, fishing, hunting, traveling, and shopping.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth; two daughters, Donna [Robert] Pichler, Minocqua, and Linda [Dennis] Willman, Marshfield; four sons, Dennis [Lynda Villapando] Schumacher, Spencer, David [Paula] Schumacher, Marshfield, Douglas Schumacher, Spencer, Jeffrey [Trudy] Schumacher, Spencer; 13 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; four sisters, Violet Wright, Marshfield, Erma [Laverne] Reigel, Hazelhurst, Beverly [Herb] Schneider, Marshfield, and Sally Follen, Nekoosa; two brothers, Dean [Nagio] Schumacher, Wisconsin Rapids, and Dale [Marilyn] Schumacher, Marshfield; and one sister-in-law, Pat Schumacher, Waldo.

Preceding him in death were his parents; three brothers, Virgil Schumacher, David Schumacher and Ervin Schumacher; two sisters, Bonnie Wittman and Donna Schumacher; and two brothers-in-law, Floyd Wright and Lawrence Wittman.

Rembs/Kundinger Funeral Home, Marshfield, assisted the family with arrangements.
