Leibl, Arnetta A. (7 Sept. 1917 - 19 Jan. 2005)
MILLADORE - Arnetta A. Leibl, age 87, a former Milladore resident, died at 8:10 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2005, at Edgewater Haven Nursing Home, Port Edwards, where she resided since Nov. 21, 2002. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 22, 2005, at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, Milladore. The Rev. Donald Berg will officiate, and Catherine Warnecke will be the organist for St. Wenceslaus Senior Choir. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery.
The visitation will be held from 12:30 p.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Rembs/Kundinger Funeral Home is assisting the family.
Arnetta was born on Sept. 7, 1917, in Colby, the daughter of Henry and Edna (Laux) Lake. She was a graduate of Colby High School. On Nov. 11, 1939, she and Edward S. Leibl were united in marriage at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Colby. After their marriage the Leibls farmed in the Auburndale area. Following retirement they lived in Wisconsin Rapids for a time and then in the village of Milladore.
Netta is survived by three brothers, Clarence (Mary) Lake of Elgin, Ill., Harold Lake of Huntley, Ill., and Wilbur "Bud" (Florence) Lake of South Elgin, Ill. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, including Julie Powell, Joni (Phil) Jung and Judy (Mike) Casey, all of Wisconsin Rapids. She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Edward on July 22, 1999; a son, Mark Leibl on July 5, 1989; a brother, Percy Lake; and two sisters, Erna Kellner and Henrietta "Tootie" Lange.
