UNITY, WIS. - Charles R. Neitzel, 87, Unity, Wisconsin, died Friday, Feb. 4, 2005, at Clark County Health Care Center in Owen.

Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Maurina Funeral Home, Abbotsford. Burial will be in St. Paul's Norwegian Lutheran Cemetery in Curtiss.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time at the funeral home Tuesday.

Charles R. Neitzel

UNITY, WIS. - Charles Robert Neitzel, 87, Unity, Wisconsin, died Friday, Feb. 4, 2005. at Clark County Health Care Center in Owen.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Maurina Funeral Home in Abbotsford.

Burial will be in St. Paul's Norwegian Lutheran Cemetery in Curtiss.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Tuesday at the funeral home.

Charles was born March 7, 1917, in the town of Holway, Taylor County, to Charles and Caroline Neitzel.

He married Ruth Gilbertson in 1939. He worked in construction and was a mechanic.

Charles is survived by his wife Ruth Neitzel, Unity; children, Robert Neitzel, Spencer, Beverly Utke, Owen, Ronald Neitzel, Unity, Sandra (Boyd) Plummer, Unity, and Rodney Neitzel, Wyoming; 14 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; siblings, Ernest Neitzel, Curtiss, Clifford Neitzel, Curtiss, Walter "Pete" Neitzel, Missouri, Mildred Hamm, Curtiss, Annie Hamus, Abbotsford, and Lilly Zahn, Wausau.
