Earl Bemis and Evan Leonard have gone to Wibaux, Mont. Where they will work during the summer.

Jos. Delong has been drawn on the jury from the town of Mentor for the spring term of court. Court will begin its session April 17th.

A bad accident happened at Willard one day the last of the week. A. L. Clair, who was the leading spirit in that community, was helping saw logs at a portable saw mill when one of his arms caught in the saw, twisting the arm off above the elbow. He was taken to the hospital at Marshfield, where he died the same night from the shock and loss of blood.

A report was circulated this morning that Len Young had shot a man who formerly lived in Augusta, at some small town out in Minnesota. It is clasimed that the man had been paying attentions to Mr. Young's wife and had been instrumental in cause a family separation. Mr. Young was in Humbird last Sunday and went to Eau Claire with his brother Smith.
