Garbisch, Edna Bertha (18 April 1909 - 16 Feb. 2005)

NEILLSVILLE -Edna Bertha Garbisch, 95, of Neillsville, formerly of Granton, died Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2005, at the Memorial Medical Center in Neillsville.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 19, 2005, at Zion American Lutheran Church in Granton. Interment will be in Zion American Lutheran Church Cemetery.

Visitation time will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Gesche Funeral Home in Neillsville and from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church in Granton.

She was born April 18, 1909, in Granton, the daughter of Paul and Nelda (Garbisch) Goebel. Edna was united in marriage to Ervin Garbisch on June 3, 1931, at Zion American Lutheran Church. He preceded her in death in 1992. They farmed for 42 years on the present June Gorst farm, retiring in 1973.

She is survived by two daughters, Carol Jean (Norman) Wesenberg of Granton and Mary Ellen (the Rev. Ron) Koplitz of Oshkosh; one grandchild; and two great grandchildren.
