He took as his text Hebrews?:4 and gave this aged mother a fine eulogy. Burial was in the Lutheran Cemetery, also in the town of Holton.

In 1870 she was married to Fred Schultz and in 1871 they came to Milwaukee where they lived for six years, then moved on a farm three miles northeast of Abbotsford, but for the past ten months she has made her home with her son, Frank.

Seven children were theirs, two only are living, Charles and Frank, two daughters died in Milwaukee, and two daughters and one son in the town of Holton. Her husband preceded her in death about 13 years.

Besides her sons, she leaves 15 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.

The mother's hands are folded, for her work is finished, but May her memory live on in the hearts of her children to bless them.
