Nancy Irene Yenni-Wendt, age 61, passed away peacefully at the Don and Marilyn Anderson Hospice Center in Fitchburg on Thursday evening, April 18, 2002.

Nancy was born on May 16, 1940 in Chicago, a daughter of the late William and Irene (Nelson) Yenni. Nancy attended the Eau Claire Business College and UW Stevens Point. She was the office manager for the Second Harvest Food Bank in Madison. She enjoyed flower arranging, cross stitch, hardanger, playing the piano and had a love of music including Southern Gospel.

Her family members include her children: Barry Wendt, Lora (Rick) Wietharn, Lynn Wendt, and Jeffrey (Dawn) Wendt; her grandchildren Bradley, Karley and Blake Wietharn; a sister Janice (Daniel) Morris; an aunt and uncles Donald (Betty) Yenni; three nieces Shannon Radwanski, Alexa Radwanski and Abberlyn Morris; and a special friend Bob Peterson.

Funeral services were held April 22, at the Olson-Holzhunter-Cress Funeral Home in Stoughton. Pastor David Handt officiated and burial was made in the Lutheran Cemetery South. The family suggests memorials in lieu of flowers, which may be made to Hospice Care, Inc. 5393 E. Cheryl Parkway, Madison WI. 53711

She was a special mother, grandmother, sister, niece, aunt and friend.
