Frank Matt Bayuk, son of John and Balbina Bayuk, was born February 24, 1923 in Willard and died April 4, 2002 at his home in Greenwood, following a lengthy battle with a blood disorder.

Frank spent his 79 years in the Central Wisconsin area working a number of jobs over the years, with a lengthy (30+ years) as a cheese maker at the former "Stewart's Redville Dairy". This was followed by 17 years of service to the Greenwood School District performing as a bus driver and in maintenance support.

Surviving Frank is his wife Beatrice; his daughter Beverly (Rodney) Lautenbach of Muskego; his son Franklin (Teresa) Bayuk; five grandchildren; his brother Edward (Josephine) Bayuk; and two sisters Florence Bayuk Klinke and Mary Catherine "Mayme" Bayuk Cesnik.

Preceding Frank in death are his parents; four sisters, Genevieve, Gertrude, Dorothy Veronica; and three brothers, Joseph, Albert and William.

The Mass of Christian Burial held April 8th was at he Holy Family Catholic Church in Willard. The Celebrant was Fr. Joseph Follmar. The Holy Family Adult Choir provided the music. Interment was in the Neillsville City Cemetery.

Casket bearers were: Denis Carteron, Hugh Christie, Ronny Ormond, Wally Ormond, Bob Petkovsek and Roger Schwartz.

The Gesche Funeral Home assisted Frank's family with arrangements.

I am sorry for your loss. My father was killed when I was 3 years old and I have no knowledge of the Bayuk side of my family. All that I know is that my fathers name was Ronald mark Bayuk and his parents were Frank and Estelle Bayuk. I just figure if you are a Bayuk i must be related because where I am from I am the only one. Please if you know anything about the Bayuk Family let me know.
