BURDEAN H CRISSINGER

Burdean H Crissinger, age 93, died Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2002, at Regina Medical Center, Hastings, MN.

Burdean H Crissinger "Criss" was born Aug. 21, 1909 in Fairmont, MN to Jay and Adeline Crissinger. He married Eloise E Klein on Oct. 9, 1936, and they enjoyed 66 years of married life.

Criss was active in the Dairy Industry for 52 years, 43 of those years as manager of the co-op Creameries in Hadley MN, Glenwood, MN, Neillsville, WI and Elgin, MN. While living in Neillsville, Criss served one term on the Neillsville School Board, was active in church work, and was appointed to serve on the merger committee of the Congregational and Evangelical Reformed Church into the United Church of Christ.

Surviving include his wife, Eloise of Hastings; daughter Onalee (Jim) Fuchs of Santa Clara, CA; son Dean (Paula) of Hastings; sister Hazel Nielsen of Fairmont; four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding Criss in death are his parents; sisters Gladys, Georgia and Donna; and one infant brother Myron.

A memorial service was held Friday, Dec. 13, at Our Savoiur's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Hastings with Rev. Lloyd Menke officiating. A private interment took place at Lakeside Cemetery in Fairmont, MN. The Caturia-Smidt Funeral Home assisted the family.
