Unity, Wis. - Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in St. Mary’s Catholic church at Colby for Edward J. Feit, 64, found dead of a heart attack at his home. His wife had gone to Colby Thursday to be with a sister who was seriously ill. She called home Saturday morning and when she received no answer, returned home and found Mr. Feit dead in bed.
The Rev. John Pinion will officiate. Burial will be made in Marshfield.
The body is reposing at the Lulloff Funeral Home at Colby.
Mr. Feit was born at Milladore June 15, 1894 and attended a business college at Wausau. Since 1920 he had served as Soo Line station master at Colby except for brief assignments at Marshfield and Port Edwards.
He served in the Army in World War I, and was with the Army of Occupation in France.
He was married at Colby on Oct. 27, 1920 to the former Edith Olson, who survives him. Other survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Patrick (Jean) Entzminger, Stevens Point; three grandchildren, and one brother, William Feit, Moose Lake, Minn.
Two brothers and one sister preceded him in death.
