The parlor of the Braun home was nicely decorated for the occasion.

The bride and groom stood under a beautiful bell suspended from an arch of flowers when Rev. Otto Saewert spoke the words that united them as man and wife.

The bride wore tan messline silk and carried white carnations. She was attended by Miss Ida Vollrath, sister of the groom. The groom was attended by the bride's brother, Eddie Braun. Only relatives of the contracting parties were present. Many beautiful presents were bestowed on the young couple.

Both young people are well known in the area where they have lived all their lives. The bride is a daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Wm Braun. The groom is the son of Mr. & Mrs. Wm Vollrath. The young couple will make their home on a farm in the Braun Settlement north of the Braun place.
