Haney, Nell H. (25 July 1930 - 1 Feb. 2005)

SEBREE, Ky. -- Nell H. Malone Haney, 74, of Sebree, died at 12:01 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2005, at Colonial Terrace Nursing Home in Sebree.

She was born July 25, 1930, in Mayfield, Ky., to the late Thomas Jefferson and Effie Jane Cope Malone. She was formerly the manager of The Pantry Store in Sebree and had been a cook for the SCNO Barge Co. in St. Louis, Mo. She was a member of Calvary Pentecostal Church in Sebree.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one stepson, Ricky Haney; two brothers; and four sisters.

She is survived by four daughters, Ann Lambert of Cairo, Ky., Nancy Cook of Dorchester, Wis., Debbie Darnell of Grand Rivers, Ky., and Anita Knellen of Nashville, Tenn.; one son, Bobby Malone of Valley View, Texas; one sister, Rosalee Stroud of Fancy Farm, Ky.; 11 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Tompkins Funeral Home Sebree Chapel with the Rev. Eddie Berry officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Henderson, Ky. Visitation will be 2 until 8 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. until service time Friday at the funeral home.
