VICTIMS OF SLAYER ARE BURIED FRIDAY

Laykovich Baby Found to Have Broken Arm After Fatal Struggle

Greenwood---Funeral services were conducted at the Catholic church at Willard Friday Morning for Mrs. Frank Laykovich and her three year old son, Eugene, who were killed at the Laykovich farm home near Willard Tuesday. Burial took place in the Catholic cemetery at Willard.

Frank Laykovich, husband and father of the slain pair, is held in the Clark county jail as a result of the killing. It is expected that an insanity plea will be instituted in his defense.

Since the crime was committed it has been discovered that the seven month old baby of the family, Bernard, had suffered a broken arm, presumably during the struggle between the father and mother.

The fracture was discovered by a Greenwood physician after two of the child's sisters, Rosalyn and Angeline, summoned from Chicago, alarmed by the child's continued crying, brought it here for examination.
