Gottfred Sollberger passed away at the Neillsville Hospital where he had been taken a few days previously, or Monday night.

Mr. Sollberger was born at Wyingen, Switzerland, June 2, 1871. He grew to manhood there and in 1902 came to America. For a few years he operated a cheese factory near Monroe, Wis. Later he came to Columbia where he had a small home, living part of the time with his brother, John Sollberger, Sr.

He was a man of quiet habits and respected by those who knew him.

The funeral will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o’clock at Schiller’s Funeral Home, Rev. Motzkus of Globe officiating.
