Russom, Levi (11 OCT 1811 - 15 NOV 1882)

Died, at the residence of Michael Oudinot in the town of Holeton, Marathon Co., on Wednesday, Nov. 15, 1882, Levi Russom, aged 71 years, 1 month and 4 days.

Levi Russom was born in Trenton, N.J., Oct. 11th, 1811. At the age of ten he removed with friends to the state of Delaware, where he resided until 21 years of age, then he was united in marriage with Mary Reed, and removed to Philadelphia where he resided until the fall of 1836, when he and his wife removed to Henry Co., Indiana, where they resided until the fall of 1848 he was called on to follow his wife to her last resting place, and in the spring of 1850 he again united in marriage with Elizabeth Landes, and removed to Fulton Co., Ill., and resided there until the fall of 1873 when he came to Wisconsin to live with his daughter and son-in-law, where he resided up to the time of his death. He leaves to mourn his death, a wife, three sons, two daughters and six grandchildren.
