Thompson, Esther (6 Sep 1930)

Esther Thompson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Thompson, of the town of York, was married Sept. 6, to Theodore Jinks, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Jinks of Midway Alabama. The ceremony took place at the home of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Vint at Evanston, Ill., the Rev. E. H. Dawes officiating.

The bride was given away by Geo. Van Green, and the wedding march was played by Mrs. Van Green.

Mr. and Mrs. Vint were their attendants.

The bride was attired in a beautiful gown of egg shell satin fashioned in a long mode. She wore a lovely veil and carried a bouquet of carnations.

The maid of honor wore a long frock of green silk georgette and her bouquet was of American beauty roses.

After the ceremony a wedding supper was served to all the guests at the Vint home which was tastefully decorated in pink and white.

The bride has, for the past year, been working in Evanston.

The groom is Vice President and general manager of the Chicago Soot Eradication Co., N. Clark St., Chicago.

They will make their home in Evanston. While the groom is a stranger here, the bride’s wide circle of friends extend their best wishes for their future happiness.
