Mrs. Charles (Eva S.) Meissner, 91, died Saturday at the Marshfield Living Center, where she had been a patient since June 18.

Services will be held Tuesday at Faith Lutheran Church with burial in Hillside Cemetery.

The former Eva S. Lindow was born Aug. 28, 1894 in the Town of Lynn, Clark County, a daughter of Emil and Nettie (Breseman) Lindow. She attended Maple Grove School, town of Lynn. After her education, she taught piano lessons in the Nasonville area.

She was married to Charles Meissner June 24, 1914 at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Nasonville. They farmed in the Town of Rock for five years, then moved to the Town of Lynn where they farmed until 1947. They then moved to Marshfield where her husband was a mason and plasterer. Her husband died Feb. 23, 1965.

She was a member of of Faith Lutheran Church.

Sruviving are two daughters, Mrs. Delmore (Ilene) Peterson and Mrs. Lawrence (Olive) Peterson, both of Marshfield; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by one brother, one sister, and one granddaughter, in infancy.
