FORMER RESIDENTS OF THORP VICINITY

Mr. and Mrs. Otto C. Hiller, Plymouth, former residents of Thorp, observed their golden wedding anniversary on Aug. 13, with a dinner and buffet supper at St. John's Lutheran Church hall in that city.

The honored couple are former owners of Hiller's Red and White Store and Cloverbelt Dairy of Thorp. Mr. Hiller served on the village board there for 19 years , as mayor for two years and was a member of the Lions Club. Mrs. Hiller was a member of the Sunshine Club, Lutheran Ladies Aid and American Legion Auxiliary.

The couple, who were married Sept. 29, 1917, moved to Plymouth in 1956. Their marriage took place at St. Stephen's Lutheran Church in Batavia. They observed their anniversary early so all family members could be present.
