EAST WESTON - WEST YORK

The Bunco Club met with Miss Doris Wachholtz Thursday evening. Prizes were won by Mrs. Art Schaefer, Mrs. Art Kotchy and Eva Wendt.

The majority of the men in this neighborhood have gone deer hunting.

Alvin Wendt and Wm. Buelow helped Eric Lueck drive his young stock home from pasture near Globe Thursday p.m.

Mrs. Clarence Hartwick returned home from the hospital at Eau Claire Wednesday.

Mr. and Mrs. Fred Wendt and family called at the Joe Bird home Sunday evening.

Mr. and Mrs. Roy Sischo visited their daughter at Marshfield Sunday.

Allen Forman and daughters, and Geo. Luebke drove to Eau Claire Sunday to see Mrs. Forman who is still at the hospital there.

Mr. and Mrs. Roscoe Brown and family also Vilma Bird called at the Len Boon home Sunday p.m.

Vera Dierks helped Mrs. Wachholtz with her housework a few days last week.

The Joe Bird family is enjoying a new radio.

Mrs. Geo. Locken visited her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Sischo over the weekend.

Miss Dorothy Boon returned from the hospital last week, but is still under the doctor’s care.

Will Dierks drove to Greenwood Sunday after a sick cow, where he has some of his cattle out for the winter.

Mrs. Roy Sischo and Mrs. Geo. Locken called at the Joe Bird home Sunday evening.
