Hold Funeral for August Marg Sunday

Neillsville, March 2 - Funeral rites for August Marg, pioneer resident of the town of Pine valley, were held here yesterday, the Rev. William Baumann officiating. Services were held from the home at 2 o'clock and from St. John's Lutheran church at 2:30. Interment was made at the Neillsville cemetery.

Mr. Marg was born in germany Aug. 25, 1861, married to Bertha Marth, sept. 25, 1891, and died Jan. 25, 1931. He is survived by Mrs. Marg and eight children; Louis, Hellenville; William, Watertown; Albert, Neillsville; Fred, Globe; Frank, Pine Valley; Edward at home; Hilda, at home; and Mrs. Herbert Bardelaben, Neillsville; and 14 grandchildren. Two brothers, William, California; Frank, Pine Valley, and two sisters, Mrs. Fred Kersec, North Dakota, and Mrs. Carl Poppe, also survive him.

Pallbearers at the funeral were: William Foemmell, Charles Thuss, Fred Pflughoeft, William Naedler, Fred Hemp, and Louis Eggebrect. Flower girls were Evelyn Hagedorn, Nelda Carl, Velda Seelow and Lenon Seelow.
