Cut flowers, mostly gladiolas ans ferns were used to decorate the church, while the house was tastefully decorated with crepe paper streamers, using pink and white in the dining room and a pretty color scheme of blue and yellow in the living room where the guests were received.

Melinda Krahn, sister of the groom acted as maid of honor and was dressed in orchid satin ankle length. Other attendants of the bride were Misses Hattie Kienow and Elsie Henseler, who also wore orchid satin and taffeta dresses of ankle length. All carried sprays of gladiola flowers with streamers.

The bride was beautifully gowned in delf blue chiffon with her long veil held in place in a cap shaped arrangement and was prettily draped over her formal ankle length gown. She had a corsage bouquet of roses

Two little girls, Selma Krahn serving as ring bearer, and Lorine Vanderhoof as flower girl, both dressed in pink.

Following the ceremony there was a reception given to about 200 guests at the home of the bride’s parents when a bountiful dinner was served. Those from out of the vicinity who attended the wedding were Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Tupper, Sheboygan; Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Krahn and Mr. Herman Krahn, Sr., Cascade; Mr. and Mrs. Ed.
