Arrangements are pending at Thorp Funeral Home.

LEWANDOWSKI, Susan, 105, of Thorp died Thursday at Oakbrook Health & Rehab in Thorp.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Bernard-St. Hedwig’s Catholic Church, with burial in Old St. Hedwig’s Catholic Cemetery, both in Thorp.

Friends May call an hour before services at the church.

Thorp Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

Susan Lewandowski

THORP - Susan Lewandowski, 105, of Thorp, died July 7, 2005, at Oakbrook Health and Rehab in Thorp, where she had resided since October 1993.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Bernard/St. Hedwig's Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Old St. Hedwig's Catholic Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the church on Friday from 9 a.m. until service time.

Susan was born Sept. 20, 1899, in Beaver Dam, the daughter of Joseph and Minnie (Piosikowski) Lemanski. She was united in marriage July 8, 1924, in Beaver Dam to Stephen Lewandowski. The couple moved to Thorp and farmed until Stephen died June 29, 1944.

She is survived by two sons, Robert (Mary Ann) of Thorp and Vernon (Valeria) of Thorp; three daughters, Marian Ver Bunker of Milwaukee, Constance (Andrew) Sweetana of Bloomington, Ind., and Margaret Nelson of Salina, Kan.; 19 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Thorp Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
