Prebil, Richard Frank (14 Sept. 1930 - 10 Nov. 2003)

Richard Frank Prebil, 73, of N8875 Bernyce Lane, Willard, Wis., died Monday, November 10, 2003, at his home.

Richard was born September 14, 1930, in Willard, to Alice (Klancher) and Frank Prebil. He attended Willard Grade School and graduated from Greenwood High

School. Richard married Kathleen Trott on July 20, 1991, in Rock Dam. Richard was an ironworker for 40 years and was a supervisor for Price Erecting in Milwaukee until his retirement in 1988. After his retirement, Richard worked part time as a grader operator for the town of Hewitt, the town of Seif, and the town of Foster. He served on the board of the town of Foster for four years.

In 1953, Richard was honorably discharged from the Army after having served in Korea. He was a member of the American Legion Post 375 for over 25 years.

Richard enjoyed working in his shop, hunting and playing cards with his friends.

Survivors include his wife, Kathleen Prebil of Willard; three sons, Robert (Lori) Prebil of East Troy, Wis., William Prebil and Joseph Prebil of Waukesha; three daughters, Catherine Schultz of Eagle, Susie (Scott) Anstedt of Rockford, Ill., and Janet Prebil; two stepchildren, Mary Koepp of Sheboygan and Timothy Koepp of Grafton; six grandchildren; five step grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Dorothy (Bill) Petkovsek of Willard and Sandra (John) Herdahl of Spooner; parents-in-law, Magdalene and Jerry Lochman of Sheboygan; dear brothers and sisters-in-law; and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Virginia (Frank) Himes of Calif.

Per Richards wishes, there will be no memorial service.

Richard was loved and will be dearly missed by his wife, his children and family.

The Cremation Society of Wisconsin is serving the family.
