Piper, Etta (26 MAY 1862 - 3 JUN 1930)

Mrs. Etta Piper, formerly a resident of this vicinity, died at the home of her sons at Milwaukee of Bright’s disease on Tuesday, June 3rd, 1930. Deceased was born on May 26, 1862 and had reached the age of sixty-eight years. The remains were brought here (Thorp, Clark Co., Wis.) for burial and the funeral took place from the M. E. Church on Friday last, Rev. Blish of Stanley officiating. Surviving deceased are three sons, Floyd and Robert of Milwaukee and Roy of Thorp and four daughters, Inez of Milwaukee, Mrs. Otto Emmanuel of Augusta, Mrs. H. Jeffers of Waupaca and Mrs. Alfred Vaugunten of Almond.

Interment took place in the village cemetery.
