Mamajek, Paul (15 JUN 1913 - 13 NOV 1930)

Paul, son of Mrs. Val Mamajek of the town of Withee, Clark Co., Wis., was accidentally shot in the leg Thursday afternoon, Nov. 13, at 4 o’clock, by his older brother, Walter, and was taken to St. Joseph’s Hospital at Chippewa Falls, Wis. the same day. He died that evening.

Paul was born in Thorp, Clark Co., town of Withee, June 15, 1913, and reached the age of 17 years, 3 months and 13 days.

The pallbearers were Mike Snieder, Malen Balicki, Henry Jasinski, Alex Przybylski, Stanley Slipek and Antone Waichulis.

Jennie Malecki, Martha Skowronek, Hattie Filipowicz, and Violet Jasinski were carrying the flower wreaths.

He leaves to mourn, his mother, Mrs. Mary Mamajek, three brothers, John of Milwaukee, and Stanley and Walter of Thorp. Also one sister, Mrs. Jos. Zuzalski of Milwaukee.

The funeral took place at St. Hedwig’s Church on Nov. 17, Rev. F. A. Kulig officiating.

Those out of town who attended the funeral were: Mr. and Mrs. John Mamajek and family, Mrs. Jos. Zuzalski and children, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Mamajek and family, and Mr. Domin Wargolet, all of Milwaukee; Mr. Casmere Mamajek and two sons of Pittsburgh, Penn.; and Mr. S. Kowronek and two sons and two daughters of Ladysmith.
