Edwin Meisner Farmer and Stone Mason

Edwin Meisner was born in Racine County, February 22, 1886. He attended the public schools in Racine, Medford and Nasonville. His father is C. S. Meisner, Nasonville. His mother died 14 years ago.

He followed the mason trade for 21 years and is now a farmer, but still does mason work for his neighbors. His cattle are mixed, but this spring he is starting with purebred Brown Swiss stock. He has two horses and a pony. Four years ago he bought the Dow farm of 40 acres and also the 40 acres adjoining it, in the town of Fremont.

He was married in 1914 to Miss Bertha Grobe, daughter of Herman Grobe, in Zion Lutheran Church, town of Fremont. They have three children, Harland 14, Chester 7 and Norman 2.

His hobby is motoring.
