Below, Marlene M. (12 Nov. 1934 - 2 Dec. 1993)

Marlene M. Below, 59, of Spencer died Dec. 2, 1993, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield. Services were held Dec. 5 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Spencer. The Rev. William Ruhbusch officiated, and burial was in the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Town of Brighton.

Community Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.

The former Marlene Toltzman was born to William and Leona (Molle) Toltzman Nov. 12, 1934, in Marshfield. She was educated at Pleasant Ridge and Loyal High School.

She and Lawrence Below were married Sept. 2, 1957, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Spencer.

She was a receptionist at S. J. Miller Cheese Co., Marshfield, for 12 years. She was secretary at Trinity Lutheran Church for years, and taught Sunday school there for 31 years. She was on the Spencer Library Board and worked at the Spencer Post Office. She was secretary and treasurer for the Beaver Cemetery for 20 years.

Mrs. Below was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Spencer.

Surviving are her husband, Lawrence; a son, Kent Below of Rochester, Minn., and a brother, Orin Toltzman of Marshfield.
