Jerome A. Laski,76, Phillips, Town of Elk, died in the Howard Young Medical Center in Woodruff, on Monday, August 30. He was born in Little Black, Taylor County, Wisconsin, on March 14, 1928, the son of Joseph and Gabrilla (Bronsky) Laski. He operated a dairy farm in the Town of Withee. He was married to Alice Osowski on August 14, 1976, in Thorp. They moved to Phillips at the time of his retirement in 1990. He was a member of Our Lady of the North Catholic Church in Phillips. In his free time after retirement, he enjoyed fishing and traveling the United States.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, September 4, at 10:30 at Our Lady of the North Catholic Church with Father Gerald Hagen celebrating the Funeral Mass. Interment was in the St. Hedwig Cemetery in Thorp, Wisconsin. Friends called at Our Lady of the North Catholic Church in Phillips after 9:30 a.m. on Saturday September 4.

He is survived by his wife, Alice; three step sons; Thomas, Thorp, WI; Ronald, Thorp, WI; and David, Gardenerville, NV; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; two brothers; George (Joyce), Albany, OR and James (Stella), Owen, WI and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by two brothers: Anthony and Louis.

The Heindl Funeral Home in Phillips was in charge of the arrangements.
