Niznik, Dawn Marie (24 April 1955 - 7 Aug. 1993)

Stetsonville - Dawn Marie Niznik, 38, Stetsonville, died at 7:10 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield, where she had been a patient for three days.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Stetsonville, with the Rev. James Babler officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Bob Buss, Jeff Mayer, Dave Patch, John Barna, Paul Niznik Jr. and Dan Niznik.

Visitation will be at Hemer Funeral Home, Medford, from 4-9 p.m. today and then at the church from 9-11 a.m. Tuesday.

She was born April 24, 1955, in Stanley, to J. Edward and Ula Versal Poppe Miller. She attended Owen-Withee schools and was a 1973 graduate of Owen-Withee High School. She also attended District 1 Technical Institute in Eau Claire, concentrating on secretarial science. She was married to Ronald R. Niznik June 15, 1974, in Withee.

After her education, she was employed with Marathon Cheese Corp., Medford, in 1976 and continued to work there until the time of her death.

She was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church and its Ladies Aid.

She is survived by her husband; three sons, Craig, Just and Aaron, all at home; her father of Owen; her mother, Mrs. Versal Kalepp of Marshfield; three sisters, Mrs. Glen (Hope) Hardrath of Unity, Mrs. Ronald (Kathleen) Rowely of Racine and Mrs. William (Denise) Dehnel of Merrill; one brother, David Miller of Highland Village, Texas; and her maternal grandmother, Mrs. Maude Calbaum of Tempe, Ariz.
