Beer, Linnie (29 MAY 1893)

Miss Linnie Beer of Beaver Dam, Wis., well known to many residents of Colby, Clark Co., Wis., was married to Frank Hammer of Chicago, on Monday, the 29th, inst. A correspondent of the Sentinel gives the following account of the wedding:

"A brilliant wedding took place today at St. Peter’s Church. The contracting parties were Frank Hammer of Chicago and Miss Linnie Beer of this city, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Beer and a well known soprano singer of St. Peter’s Church Choir. The wedding took place at 9 a.m., the Rev. Joseph A. Dreis officiating. The bride wore a beautiful white silk dress, the veil reaching to the veil reaching to the floor and extending to the end of the long train. A reception was given members of the choir and relatives. The young couple took the afternoon train for Chicago, their future home."
