Eyerly, Jessie (4 APR 1867 - 21 Dec 1916)

Mrs. Jessie Cameron Eyerly, wife of Frank D. Eyerly, died in Minneapolis at the Eilel Hospital, Dec. 21, 1916, where she had gone for a surgical operation. She had entered the hospital with every hope and assurance of the operation being a success, but it was of no avail. She had suffered greatly during the past year, but had stood with patience the long illness and went bravely through the operation, her trust and faith in the Lord upholding her.

Deceased was born in Eau Claire, April 4, 1867, grew to womanhood there, and there was united in marriage with Frank D. Eyerly, Nov. 13, 1889. They made their home in Neillsville, Clark County, Wis. till Jan. 1895, when they moved to Madison, Mr. Eyerly entering the service of the state. They lived in Madison until 1901, returning to Neillsville, which was their home till 1906. They then moved to Minneapolis where they have resided ever since.

Many of her old friends here will sincerely mourn her death. A quiet, home loving woman, devoted to her home and household duties, yet ever ready to give a helping hand in all good work. She possessed the highest attributes of the ideal wife and mother.

She leaves to mourn her death, her husband and two daughters, March and Lydie, whom she dearly loved. She leaves also four brothers: Wm. And Angus Cameron, who live in Canada, Allan in Duluth, and Roy in Milwaukee; also one sister, Mrs. Ernest Stein of Eau Claire.

The funeral was held at the sister’s home Saturday, Dec. 28. A profusion of flowers sent by Eau Claire and Minneapolis friends testified in some measure to the love and esteem of many friends.
