Warner, Elizabeth (29 Mar 1805 - 8 Apr 1890)

Died, at the residence of her son, S. S. Warner in the town of Thorp, Clark County, Wis., on April 8, 1890, Mrs. Elizabeth Warner, aged 85 years and 10 days.

Elizabeth Sweet was born on March 29, 1805 in Montgomery Co., N.Y., and was united in matrimony with Stephen A. Warner at the age of twenty. In 1867 she came west with her husband and settled in Juneau Co., this state, and from thence moved to the town of thorp, Clark County, in 1874. Jun 10, 1880, her husband died, since which time she has resided with her son S. S. Warner. As one of the oldest residents in this vicinity when was quite well known among the inhabitants, who extend sympathy to the family in their sore bereavement. The funeral occurred on Thursday last and was conducted by Rev. J. E. Webster, a large concourse of friends and neighbor attending, the G. A. R. Post and W. R. C., being largely represented. The interment took place at Eidsvold Cemetery.
