100 YEARS AGO...

Mr & Mrs. Gus. Johnson’s infant sone died last Friday.

Mr & Mrs. Chas. Agin’s infant daughter died las Thursday.

F. Schwenke well be selling some of his livestock and farm machinery at an auction. Frank plans on moving to Woods County, Oklahoma.

75 YEARS AGO...

Elmer Broeren left for Watertown, WI here he has employment.

Mrs. Wm. Lenk passed away on Feb. 25th.

Mr & Mrs. Geo Telford returned from their honeymoon to Sheboygan last Tuesday.

A.G. Rasmussen who recently purchased Weibel’s restraurant property from Mr. & Mrs. E. Beller, sold the property to Thos. Vanderwegan.

Eileen Lois, age 2 and 5 months, died on Feb. 27th from pneumonia.

50 YEARS AGO...

The son of Mr. & Mrs. Louie Janowski, Eugene Sadek, was killed in action in South Korea on Feb. 11th. He is the grandson of Mr. & Mrs. Andrew Krupa.

Mr & Mrs. Edward Izydorek and family moved to Chicago last Monday.

Mr & Mrs. Edward Baures had a daughter.

Mr & Mrs. Adam Pozdell’s daughter, Frances, graduated from nurse’s training.

Mr & Mrs. Julius Potaczek had ababy girl Feb. 23rd.

Mr & Mrs. Alois Potaczek had a daughter on Feb. 18th. Mrs. Potaczek is the former Antoniette Symbal.

25 YEARS AGO...

Bernard R. Frenette received the Expert Driver’s Certificate from postmaster M.L. Teclaw.

Frank Luzinski, age 94, died Feb. 28th.

Mary Jaskot, age 85, died in Marshfield on Feb. 27th.

Katherine Swatzina, age 63, died Thursday in Stanley.

Paul Lampkins, age 84, died Friday in Neillsville.

Phillip Frese, age 73, died Feb. 28th in Medford.

Julia Koci, age 67, died Friday in Marshfield.

Pelagia Kaniewski, age 86, died Feb. 3rd. She lived in South Bend, Indiana.

Louis Schulze, age 66, died Feb. 22nd at his home.

Hugo Wolter, age 79, died the 22nd in Eau Claire.

Janet Lis and Richard Webster were wed Feb. 14th in Gilman.

Mr & Mrs. Bob Mertens had twins, a boy and a girl on March 1st.

Mr & Mrs. Tom Mallenix (nee Ellie Boardman), had a son Feb. 25th in LaCrosse.

Evelyn Kobylinski had a grand-daughter on Feb. 19th. The parents are Stan & Helen Kobylinski of Milwaukee.

10 YEARS AGO...

Adam Mnikolaicik, age 74 of Stanley, died Feb. 28th in Stanley.

Raymond Heiman, age 71, died Feb. 23rd in Milwaukee.

Laura Petrie & Arnold Alger were wed Feb. 9th in Chippewa Falls.
