100 YEARS AGO:

Mr & Mrs. Frank Lubner had a daughter April 18th. Henry and John Folts sold their farms and moved back to Ford, MO.

Rudolf Plecity moved to Ray, ND where he has a homestead. His brother Frank travelled as far as Oriska, ND with him.

The following travelled to Neillsville to be jurors: M. Wiltgen, Jos. Baxter, Wm. Vandusen, David Kienholz and C. Banderbob.

Marriage licenses were give to John Herman and Hedwiga Swierkowski; John Deutschlander and Valeria Milanczuk; Mike Jainski and Kate Kulczyk.

H.A. Culler runs the trains depot.

Mrs. Frank Neiman and Mrs. Peter J. Grabowski have moved to be with their husbands in Minneapolis.

The following students were not absent or tardy for the month of March: John Thielke, Sadie Biddle, Carrie Deforth, Nettie Norvinski, Minnie VanAble, Gilbert Asselin, Clara Thielke, Edward Asselin, August Pagel, Alma Deforth. For April: Willie Pagel, Amanda Theil, Albert Buss, Cleo Daughhetee, Gilbert Asselin, Edward Asselin, Carl Thiel.

Albert Johnson bouth Joseph ?'s farm. Joseph is moving to Missouri.

John and Anna Christopherson are on the sick list. Joseph Baxter and Wm. Vandusen are jurors in Neillsville on Monday.

John Henderson has leased his farm to Mrs. A. Hall.

75 YEARS AGO:

John Spara purchased 80 acres of farm from Mrs. A. Kutnarowski.

Anton Fischer's family moved to the Gullikson farm which they bought.

J.R. Misfeldt returned from Durand. Her father passed away. B.W. Hubbard is staying longer. Mr. & Mrs. Frank Shoemaker had a baby boy on April 22nd.

Joe Kotecki from Pozen, traded his farm for property in Chicago.

A large building owned by P. Kmiec, from Taft, was destroyed by a fire.

Bill Wolowik of Wildwood, sings, whistles and plays concertina music.

Mr & Mrs. Russell Burss of Milwaukee have a son.

Mr & Mrs. Anton Hendriks of Sheboygan had a daughter on April 18th.

Mrs. J.A. McCarty of Greenwood, died at Rev. D.S. Householders home on April 16th. Her husband died June 19, 1926.

Sophie (Teclaw) Ogurek passed away.

Anna (Neiman) Holzhausen was born in Germany on March 16, 1857. She has passed away.

50 YEARS AGO:

Mr & Mrs. Harley Swim's daughter Beverly weds Pvt. Wilfred Wehrman of Greenwood.

Mr & Mrs. Wilbur France of Taft had a daughter on April 7th.

Mrs. Peter Erickson of Salem, OR has passed away.

Mr & Mrs. Leon Przybylski of Rolling Meadows had a baby girl.

Mr & Mrs. Gilbert Asselin of Four Corners had a baby boy on April 8th.

25 YEARS AGO:

Emma Jaeger, age 80, the mother of Mrs. Donald Seaholm, died in Thorp.

Frank Konieczny Sr., age 98, passed away on May 2nd.

Michael Troyer has a new sister born on April 4th. Parents are Mr. & Mrs. Rick Troyer.

Jennifer Potaczek has a sister born on April 13th. Parents are Mr. & Mrs. David Potaczek.

Nowaks Hardware store was destroyed by fire and is now being rebuilt.

Lucille Alma Stanek of Gilman, age 60, died April 28th at Chippewa Falls.

Dennis D. Schmidt, entered the USAF delayed enlistment program.

Art and Agnes Jacques celebrated their 50th anniversary on April 29th.

10 YEARS AGO:

Steve Shewczyk of Stanley, age 82, passed away May 2nd.

William Mickett Sr., age 82, of Greenwood, died April 29th in Stanley.

Clarence F. Hedler, age 70 of Tracy, MN, died April 22nd.

Loyd W. Hamel, age 68, from Maplehurst, died April 27th in Medford.

Brian and Carol Weiler had a daughter born on April 28th.

Duane and Pat Jarocki have a daughter born on April 29th.

WAY BACK WHEN picture: last weeks picture was of Dorothy (Czech) Frenette, Eddie Czech and Valerie (Czech) Carter and was taken in back of the White Eagle Tavern after Eddie returned from the war.
