Karlen, Rose (Marriage - 30 JUN 1920)

On June 30, 1920 a pretty home wedding was solemnized, Miss Rose Karlen and Mr. jack Wry were united in marriage by Rev. A. C. Stapel, at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. Karlen. The bride was beautifully attired in white georgette crepe and carried a large bouquet of white roses. The bride was accompanied by Miss Lena Karlen and Miss Myrtle Wry and the groom was accompanied by Earl Wry and Ernest Karlen. A beautiful dinner was served at 3 P.m., to a large number of relatives and a few of Rose's friends. The house was beautifully decorated in pink and white. The newly wedded couple will reside southeast of Thorp, Clark County, Wis., where the groom is engaged in cheese making. We wish Rose and John loads of success in their journey through life.
