Mr. W.H. Bagley, of Greenwood, whose long continued illness has made him quite a stranger in this place, was in town again this week. He looks very thin yet, but is regaining his usual weight.

We omitted by mistake, last week, to mention Mr. W. S. Payn’s return. He did not go to Virginia with the Rennies, as he had a partial notion of doing, but returned after a trip to St. Louise.

Mr. Peter Tookson has been pleased at the appearance of a frisky little Norsky who will become a fine painter if he is worthy of his father.

But O. L. Sprague beats them all. A boy and girl, healthy and promising, is his reward for taking the Press and paying for it like a man. Our subscription books are always open.
