To Mrs. Ella Bailey at Neillsville, Wis., Last Sunday. The following taken from the Winona Morning Press, of Thursday, will be of general interest to our readers, Mr. Davis being well known here, where he has delivered a series of lectures for the Sr. Charles Liberal League Club, during the Winter months.

'Word was received in the city yesterday of the marriage of F. C. Davis, of Winona, to Mrs. EIIa Bailey of Neillsville, at the latter place on Sunday last. When the report was first circulated but little credence was given it, but on investigation it was found to be true. The ceremony was performed by Rev. T. C. Hill, the Presbyterian minister of Neillsville, at the residence of Mrs. R. F. Krountz. a sister-in law of the bride.

Mr. Davis for several years has been the pastor of the Unitarian church of this city, and recently resigned, so that he could devote more tune to the other churches which he has :in charge. One of his churches is located at Neillsville, Wis., and to this one he has given much of his time for the past year. He has not been in town since some time in December, but no one suspected that, there was any estrangement in his family relations. Investigation failed to show whether he has gotten a divorce from his wife in this city, but it is thought he has. A report has it that they have been divorced for years and that Mrs. Davis has been acting in the capacity of his housekeeper.

Nothing is known as to what Mr. Davis' plans are, or where he will reside. It is said that he has been studying law for sometime, and that he intends to adopt that profession."
