Fatal Accident A Man Killed by a Falling Tree Mr. Jessie Johnson, a resident of the town of Grant, living near Rexars Corners, met with a very sad and sudden death, last Monday morning. He was engaged in cutting down a tree. For some reason the tree did not fall until he had cut if off, or nearly off. Of a sudden, the tree commenced falling and striking a limb projecting from another tree, the butt was thrown upward and around, striking him full in the face, breaking his neck and killing him instantly. Mr. Johnson was a middle age man and leaves a wife and several children.
