John A. Welch and Miss Helen Zuge were married at Marshfield on last Sunday evening at half-past seven at the Lutheran Parsonage. The bride was attended by Mrs. Daisy Baxter and the groom by a young friend of Marshfield.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Zuge of the town of Loyal, Clark County, Wis. and has been employed at Marshfield for some time. She is a young lady who possesses many good qualities and is loved and respected by all.

The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. I. N Welch and is employed by the Wis. Central as brakeman between Marshfield and Stevens Point, and is held in high esteem by his fellow workmen, as is evidenced by the numerous presents tendered them, among them a silver set from the engineer of his train. He is well known in this village and has friends by the score.

The happy couple will make their future home at Marshfield.
