Mrs. P. W. Hill is prepared to compete for the premium for the prettiest baby at the next county fair. It’s a girl.

August Sholtz’s team made a lively runaway down Court House hill last Saturday night, landing in Tolford’s livery stable.

Jas. Carr, of Chippewa Falls, once a resident of the village, spent a few days in town during the past week, visiting friends, after an absence of four years.
