New Store C. Blakeslee, of Sparta, is putting in a stock of goods in the building on the corner of East and Main streets, formerly occupied by D. Dickinson. The stock will consist of a complete stock of dry goods, groceries, boots, and shoes, hats, caps, etc. Mr. Blakeslee is well known to the people of this county, having been one of its earliest settlers, and to the trade in this vicinity, having previously been engaged in the mercantile business in this village for several years. The business will be conducted by John H. Thayer, formerly with Hewett & Woods. John is a good salesman and a pleasant person to deal with. The prospects of the new establishment receiving a liberal patronage are good.
