A German paper is soon to be established in this place. It will be edited and conducted by Mr. N. Schultz, recently of the Wood County Herold, through which he has already made himself well acquainted with the Germans of this county. He is a ready and talented writer, who will give the Germans of this and surrounding countries what they much need, a live German paper. The paper will be a sever column folio, called The German American. It will be independent in politics. Such a paper will be of vast benefit in directing German emigration to this country, and should receive a liberal patronage from not only the Germans, but from the American business men, who will be directly benefited by it.
