Schreier, Celia (Marriage - 10 MAY 1910)
At the Catholic Church in this village (Loyal, Clark County, Wis.) on Tuesday morning occurred the marriage of Miss Celia Schreier to Mr. George Kastenmeyer of Beaver Dam. The wedding was performed by Rev. Father Stenz.
Congratulations followed with merry jest and cheerful conversation. An elegant dinner was served at ten o'clock in the morning. After expressing sincere wishes for the happiness and prosperity of the newly wedded couple, they were taken to Spencer in an automobile and there caught the one o'clock train for Milwaukee.
The young couple was attended by Misses Mayme Schmitz, Susie Schreier and Clara Andraska, and Messrs. William Schreier, Joseph Kastenmeyer and William Beaver.
The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Schreier of the town of Loyal and is capable of filling the home she will adorn with happiness and will prove to be truly a helpmate and companion to the husband she has chosen to honor with her hand. Although of a quiet disposition she has many true friends. She was a trusted employee of this office for several months and always faithful in performing her duties; ever ready to do her best for the interests of her employers and no doubt will do the same for her husband.
The groom, although a stranger to many of us, is a prosperous young farmer from near Beaver Dam, where they will begin housekeeping.
It is a pleasure to chronicle the marriage of such worthy young people and this paper wafts to them its congratulations.
