Schofield, Bessie E. (Marriage - 17 JUN 1914)
At the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Schofield, of the town of Unity, Clark County, Wis., at twelve o'clock on Wednesday, June 17, 1914, occurred the wedding of their only daughter, Bessie Eudora to Mr. Richard Einfeldt of Greenwood, Clark County.
The house was decorated with pink and white roses predominating among flowers. The wedding march was played by the bride's cousin, Miss Mamie Cool, and attended by the bride's brother, Lee Schofield and her most intimate friend, Miss Belle Hulce of Wausau, they took their places where the solemn words were spoken, which made them husband and wife by Rev. John Dix, the ring ceremony being used.
The bride was radiant in her gown of ivory satin with over dress of silk lace, while the bridesmaid wore pale blue mescaline with white lace. The groom was dressed in conventional black. After the ceremony an elaborate dinner was served to guests, about thirty in number, only the immediate relatives of the bride and groom being invited.
They received many beautiful and useful presents with the hearty congratulations and best wishes of their many friends.
The bridal part then autoed to Spencer, taking the train to Marshfield, where the bride and groom departed for their future home at Greenwood, where they will be a home to their friends after July 4th.
